Although a life vest for America in the past, Berger believes that Great Britain is less of a reliable ally as it becomes less stable. He emphasized that Great Britain has had little to no ‘fresh ideas’ compared to other major powers. Although Germany, France, and the UK have been the most important countries in the EU, Great Britain voted to leave the EU. Berger goes into more detail about Brexit and its effects. Issues that came with Brexit include problems with Spain, trade, finance, security/crime, and health services. Berger concludes his presentation by explaining that these potential problems are solvable, but without effort for a solution could cause crises.
