Russian Ministry of Defense:  Russia accuses Ukraine forces of using residential buildings for military positions

We continue to record criminal acts by Kiev regime against civilian population of Ukraine and republics of Donbass:

in Kramatorsk, Donetsk People's Republic, in the school №35, in the private residential buildings, AFU personnel, mercenaries and Azov militants have deployed strongpoints, sniper positions, armoured and mortar positions, while local residents remain detained in the basements;

in Kharkov, in the technological lyceum №9, militants of Ukrainian armed groups have deployed barracks, armoured equipment, artillery and MRLS;

in Slavyansk, Donetsk People's Republic, in the art lyceum, AFU units have deployed their armoured equipment, long-range artillery and MRLS, the approaches to the lyceum have been mined, but local population has been intentionally left uninformed;

in Nikolayev, in the school №51, Territorial Defence units have deployed their munitions depots and armoured equipment.

 In addition, in Zelenodolsk, Dnepropetrovsk region, professionals of the Centre for Information and Psychological Operations of the AFU carried out another provocation in order to accuse Russian Armed Forces of alleged destruction of civilian infrastructure facilities by indiscriminate attacks. 

Nationalists had previously withdrawn all the cereals from a grain storage of an agricultural enterprise and exploded them, while the local administration, as it had already been practiced by Kiev authorities, has spread fabricated photo- and videographic datathrough Ukrainian and western mass media. This kind of fakes are regularly replicated by the Ukrainian propaganda supported by the collective West.

We emphasize again that the Russian Federation Armed Forces do not launch attacks at civilian infrastructure facilities and treat civilians with an exclusive humanity during the special military operation.
Ministry of Defence has informed about the interchange of war prisoners: 144 for 144 servicemen. It had been organised and held according to the direct order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as the lives, the health and the liberation of our servicemen, the fighters of the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics who constitute the majority of the returned individuals, are the most important task.

Operational-tactical aviation of Russian Aerospace Forces has shot down 2 Su-25 airplanes of Ukrainian Air Force near Shirokoye (Dnepropetrovsk region) and Arkhangelskoye (Kherson region), 1 Buk-M1 self-propelled air defence system at its firing position near Odessa and 1 radar of S-300 air defence system near Slavgorod (Dnepropetrovsk region).

Russian air defence means have shot down 1 Su-27 airplane of Ukrainian Air Force near Sofiyevka (Donetsk People's Republic), as well as 9 Ukrainian UAVs near Berestovoye, Petrovenki (Donetsk People's Republic), Zhovtnevo, Bayrak, Getmanovka, Ivanchukovka, Peremoga (Kharkov region).

Over the past 24 hours, 23,485 persons (3,176 children) have been evacuated from the dangerous areas of Ukraine and the republics of Donbass; in total, since the beginning of the special military operation: 2,213,687 persons (349,771 children). 6 humanitarian campaigns have been carried out in the Donetsk People's Republic, in Zaporozhye, Kharkov and Kherson regions, during which 214.7 tonnes of basic necessities, medicine and food are distributed.
